You’ve Got Mail

Call me old-fashioned, but I love getting mail.  Email is okay, but the real mail, the snail mail, is what dreams are made of!

There’s really nothing like getting a letter in the mail, anticipating the contents and then getting it open and sitting down for a good read.  I’m not talking about bills and credit card offers, notifications or junk, I’m talking about a good old-fashioned letter or card.

It takes time to write cards and letters.  Some people really don’t like to write or they don’t know what to write or it takes them a long time to write, so unfortunately, the snail mail form of communicating is becoming obsolete. 

We live in a fast-paced, electronic world and it takes its toll.  One way to slow things down and disconnect is to get out that pen and paper and start writing.  It will be therapeutic!  It’s good for the writers and the receivers. 

Thinking about all those letters out there making people feel warm and loved and cared for really makes me smile!
