Maui is one of my favorite places. I enjoy the natural beauty of Hawaii – the trees, the foliage and especially the water. When we went last year, the water was warmer than the air. There was a big storm blowing in and everything was flying – including towels, water toys and deck chairs! But the water was incredibly warm – we stayed in a long time with the wind blowing over us, thankfully the wind was crazy, but the water was pretty calm.
We really relaxed last time we were there – we enjoyed a really nice condo with a kitchen and ate most of our meals on our deck. We read and played in the water and also went whale watching – which was a blast. The whales were close enough to touch. Mostly mamas and babies – which was really something to see!
Maui….you make me smile!
