Sunset

It’s been pretty hot here for a few days.  One of the nicest places to go when it’s hot is out on our deck.

 I especially like being out on the deck when the sun is setting.  It’s still a little light outside, and the silhouettes of the trees are spectacular.  I sometimes think I could sit out on the deck and watch the sky and those trees forever.  Eventually, though, it does get dark and then the city lights become visible.

The skyline of San Francisco is well-known.  

I never realized how much I would enjoy seeing that skyline – especially from my deck!
